What Can Video Tools Help You Do?

Start with the result you need: a smaller file, a shorter clip, a new frame size, another format, MP3 audio, a GIF, subtitles, or a screen recording. Each tool handles a distinct task so you can choose the right workflow first.

Keep the source video and review the exported file before sharing or publishing. File size, picture clarity, and playback depend on the source, export settings, and your device.

Choose a Tool by the Result You Need

A smaller file or shorter clip

Compress to reduce file size; trim to keep one continuous segment. Then check the output size or the clip’s start and end points. Compress Video Trim Video

A new frame size or format

Resize for a portrait, landscape, or square frame; convert when the destination needs MP4, WebM, or AVI. Check the frame and play the exported file. Resize Video Convert Video Format

Audio, GIF, or subtitles

Extract MP3 from a video with audio, make a GIF from a short clip, or generate and edit subtitles before downloading SRT/VTT or a captioned video. Video to MP3 Video to GIF Create Subtitles

Record a tab, window, or screen

Choose a source in your browser’s picker, enable audio when supported, then preview and download the WebM recording. Record Screen

Compress, Resize, or Convert?

If a video is too large to share, try Video Compressor and enter a KB/MB limit when the destination has a maximum; the tool reports when the output misses the target. If the frame is wrong, use Video Resizer to choose an aspect ratio or dimensions. If the destination cannot read the current format, use Video Format Converter.

Resizing or converting can also change file size, but neither guarantees a specific MB target. If you only need part of a long video, trim the unused portion before compressing the clip you will share.

Review Video, Audio, and Captions After Export

Play the beginning, middle, and end of the new file; check for an incorrectly cropped frame, synchronized audio, and a size accepted by the destination. GIF has no audio, and MP3 contains only the sound from a video with an audio track.

For automatic captions, correct the words and timing before export. SRT/VTT store text and timestamps; choose the captioned-video export when the words need to appear in the picture itself.

Where Is Your Video Processed?

Processing methods and limits vary by tool, browser, and format. Read the notice next to the file picker on the tool you choose, especially before opening a sensitive or large video.

Some tasks download a processing engine or model to your device; long videos may need more memory and time. If export fails, try a shorter file or a format listed by the tool, then review the download.
