Check Backlinks by Domain
Enter a domain. The tool finds Wikipedia pages linking to the website, then scans them to verify real links, with no API key.
If DataForSEO or OpenPageRank is configured, you can use provider lookup for additional metrics.
How to discover and verify backlinks
Enter the domain to check
Enter the target domain such as example.com and select Check backlinks; no source URL is needed.
The tool finds Wikipedia pages
The tool finds English and Vietnamese Wikipedia pages linking to the domain, then verifies up to 4 pages.
Review links and sample coverage
Review source URLs, target URLs, anchor text, rel and failed pages. Results are not the full backlink profile.
Choose a backlink check method
| What you have | Choose in the tool | Result and limit |
|---|---|---|
| Only a domain | Find and verify on Wikipedia; enter the target domain. | Scan up to 4 discovered English/Vietnamese Wikipedia pages. No match here does not mean the site has no backlinks. |
| Known linking-page URLs | Verify known source URLs; enter the target domain and up to 8 source-page URLs, not a report URL. | Review source/target URLs, anchor, rel and failed pages. This is a scan of supplied pages, not a web-wide backlink total. |
| Need backlink-index data | Choose API data lookup when a provider is configured on the server. | Check the source label: Full may include backlink totals and samples; Lite has a converted score and weighted referring domains, with unavailable fields left blank. |
Website Authority Score is KitoTool’s own score when Full data is available; the Lite score is converted from OpenPageRank. Do not treat them as the same measure.
When counts differ or no report appears
Different providers
Each index discovers and refreshes links differently. Compare like sources and dates, then inspect linking URLs, anchors and target pages before acting on a link.
No source URL found
If Wikipedia returns no matching URL or a source page fails to load, review each page status. When you know a linking article outside Wikipedia, switch to Verify known source URLs and enter that article URL.
How is the data handled?
The domain and source URLs you enter are sent to KitoTool’s server. Automatic discovery queries Wikipedia’s public external-link index and fetches found pages for verification; manual mode fetches the source URLs you provide. Only a configured API mode receives data from a backlink provider.
