How to check a keyword position

Enter a website and one keyword
Paste a domain or website URL. The tool matches the domain, including subdomains, within returned organic results; the entered URL path is not used as a filter.

Choose desktop or mobile in Vietnam
Each run uses one keyword and one device. If the self-hosted OpenSERP provider is used, mobile emulation may be unreliable.

Review URL, top 10 sample and data source
Read the found position, time, source and cache label. Browser history compares the same domain, keyword, country and device.
Understand the result scope
Domain position in the sample
When a SERP provider responds, KitoTool finds the first organic result matching the domain or a subdomain among up to 100 returned positions. No match means none was found in the sample; it does not prove the site ranks nowhere.
Different from Search Console average position
This is one Vietnam search sample for one keyword and one device. Search Console averages position across your site’s impressions; the two numbers are different measures.
When a domain is missing or its position changes
No match in the sample
Check the entered domain, keyword and URLs in the top 10. If you need to know whether a page is indexed, use the index signal checker or Search Console URL Inspection.
Compare equivalent checks
History keeps up to 20 checks in this browser. Compare the same keyword, domain, device and source; note cached or stale data. If the matching URL changes, review page intent and content before concluding there is internal competition.
How are data and history handled?
The domain, keyword and device are sent to the KitoTool API and its configured SERP provider. Results may be cached on the server; up to 20 history records stay in this browser’s localStorage and can be cleared. If no provider is configured, the tool reports an error instead of sample rankings.
