PNG transparency and PDF quality
The tool places PNG images on white and re-encodes them as JPEG inside the PDF, so the PDF does not preserve transparency or the original PNG pixels. Small text and fine lines may change after compression; try High and inspect the downloaded PDF. Images longer than 4,096 px on either side are scaled down. Keep the source PNG files if you need transparency or original pixels.
